The St. Louis Naturally Occurring Retirement Community (NORC) is rolling out the red carpet to invite the entire community for an evening of “Banjos and Brass,” Monday, May 21, 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the JCC Staenberg Arts & Education Building, 2 Millstone Campus Drive.
Two banjos, a trombone and a tuba will have your toes a tapping. The musicians have played all around St. Louis including Gaslight Square in “Your Father’s Mustache” and on Mississippi riverboats.
Cost is $5 in advance (registration closes May 8) and $7 at the door and includes pretzels, popcorn, soda and coffee. Seating is limited so register as soon as possible.

St. Louis NORC is a non-sectarian membership-based program of Jewish Federation of St. Louis operating within a three-mile neighborhood in the Creve Coeur area. Founded in 2004, it supports the healthy aging of adults 65+ in their homes with programming and services. In 2011, NORC opened its on-site programming (health and wellness, educational, cultural workshops, and bus outings) to anyone in the 65+ age group who has an interest in learning, meeting new people, and exploring some of the cultural institutions in our community.
